Think Play

We believe in the value of a playful approach to life at all ages and in everything we do.

Play is the most important activity of a child.

For all people, playfulness involves creativity, inquisitiveness and a deep involvement in the activity – all positive features we value at work as well as at play.

Play is both a physical activity and a state of mind, however a playful state of mind is necessary before the physical activity becomes play. For example for an adult to move a truckload of sand is considered work, however watch children at he seaside – they play at it and a lot of sand gets moved quickly and in a very concentrated fashion. In both cases the sand was moved but the adults worked while the children played.

Think play means that we want play to be a constant element in our lives; at work and at leisure. It means that we are creative, imaginative, inquisitive and with a certain impulsiveness that makes life interesting and allows us to meet difficult challenges in a positive way.

Furthermore, Think play is an allusion to a very particular Italian approach to daily life where there is an emphasis on giving priority to activities that contribute to the enjoyment of the day, like taking time to enjoy a well prepared meal. Think play suggests a quality state of mind, a creative way of working with an emphasis on the positive, and that simple things are worth doing well.
